Hello, Hello!
I’ve just about surfaced from the pre-Christmas 'Candle Crazy' season! Thank you to everyone who supported us again in 2018. I hope you all had a great break and have hit the ground running in 2019.
How many times have you been asked what your new year’s resolution was going to be? I don’t really buy in to things like that on a personal level, but I do like to have a good 'life clear out' at the start of the year, which of course includes planning everything Solu related, for the year ahead.
We have lots to look forward to, including returning to Chester Food and Drink Festival and Liverpool Food and Drink Festival around Easter time. Both are fantastic events for the whole family and with Easter being towards the end of April this year, I’m keeping my fingers crossed for fine weather at both events! I also applied for our first Christmas 2019 event this week. How alien does that feel!?
Part of my founding principles for Solu Candles was to remain true to my values, whatever the financial cost of that was. It’s therefore with sadness that we won’t be returning to Cheadle Makers Market this year. However, given we are based in Cheadle, it is really very simple to order directly from us and arrange for free collection - get in touch for details. We are also sourcing some more local retailers for you to be able to get your Solu fix.
New sample fragrances arrive this week, which I’m so excited to test. They include some Inspired By Designer Fragrances, Neroli base and Ylang Ylang base. Send me a message if you’d like to be one of our testers!
